gifts under $100.

I’m determined to buy Christmas gifts early this year — the last minute scramble is stressful and takes the excitement away from finding gifts for your loved ones!

For the women in my life I like to purchase based on items I would like myself, when you want to keep it – you know it’s good!

Coffee table books are always a good idea — especially beautiful ones relating to fashion, design & style. I love stopping by Strand Bookstore at Club Monaco in NYC that has shelves of the most beautiful books & flowers.

And a couple that I have and recommend!

Other gifts you can never go wrong with are: candles {especially really nice ones that the gift receiver wouldn’t normally buy themselves like these Diptyque ones!}, ornaments & blankets.

Net-A-Porter has the cutest sets of Ornaments // naturally I love the Paris, London & Sweets sets!

Richard is the one person I won’t be buying a gift for in advance. Last year we did a “Christmas Day” in NYC {here} – it was so wonderful that we’re doing again this year.

The whole idea of it is to take the stress away from buying each other Christmas gifts and make it more fun — we will give each other 1 hour to shop in Soho with a certain budget {last year it was $50 I think we are upping it a little this year!} and plan to meet at a dedicated spot for an after shopping drink / dinner šŸ™‚

We’re planning on doing dinner at Dirty French and I also want to make it a priority to stop at Levain Bakery before we shop. Their chocolate chip cookies look gooey & perfect – definitely cookies fit for a Christmas celebration.

Don’t forget to check out the wrapping paper by Mark D. Sikes to make your gift extra pretty. It’s the little things like pretty packaging that truly make me happy! šŸ™‚

Cheers! xx
