friday five.

TGIF! So happy it’s the weekend and can’t wait to spend time with some friends who are in town from Chicago.

A Friday Five round up for you today…

I made this lasagne soup on Sunday from Skinny Taste and it was a HIT.

It was on Skinny Taste’s top recipes from 2015 {see the full list here} and seemed pretty easy {it was!} so I gave it a shot.

The ricotta cheese mix on top makes this serrrriously taste like lasagne without as many cals. It’s just as satisfying as regular lasagne but doesn’t make you feel grossly full.

Looking forward to wearing this Shoshanna dress on Saturday. It has the prettiest sheer sleeves & the olive color is just perfect for the transition period from Fall to Winter.

I also love this cold shoulder sweater that I wore this week in black!

A few other options with the cold shoulder look are below.

After seeing this bath tray caddy on Audrie Storme’s Instagram {photo below via} I knew I HAD TO FIND IT!!! The exact one she has is from Bed Bath & Beyond here.

Being the bath lover I am, I ended up doing a little research and ordered this one from Amazon because the price was the same but with better reviews — most notably a place for your iPhone and it holds various sized wine glasses – v important detail {also, #amazonprime}

I also recently ordered this yoga spray because I am a sucker for making my home feel like a spa / yoga studio / place of happiness.

I’ve been trying to slow down {mentally} and live more in the moment. I often find myself in a mentality of what comes next. Trying to have control & trying to plan every little thing is exhausting. The “go go go” can make me forget to just be. To slow down, breathe and enjoy life.

Sorry for the #preach sesh but I’m sure I’m not the only one who needs to slow down — and also unplug. Also something I’m *trying* to work on.

…seriously this helps 🙂 Find it here from Net-A-Porter.

I came across this site called Thrive Market while browsing some blogs the other day – it’s a membership community that uses the power of direct buying to deliver healthy food and natural products to members at wholesale prices, and to sponsor free memberships for low-income American families.

Your first order you get free shipping & 15% off with 30 day free trial {after that it’s $59 for a yearly membership} – with the amount I saved on just my first order it seems that the annual fee is worth it. Check it out here!

Items in my first order {my total was $22} include:
Dr. Bronner’s Organic Almond Castile Liquid Soap – this stuff smells like heaven and the smaller bottle of it costs the same amount at Whole Foods as this larger bottle on Thrive.
Mamma Chia organic black chia seeds
Mrs. Meyers Geranium hand soap
Pacific Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

{I oddly really like seeing what other people get from the grocery and what home products they enjoy – anyone else!?}
