recent reads.

I’m in the market for some new reads but thought I would share a few that I’ve read over the past few months that I’ve really enjoyed.

I typically read on my subway commute, before bed or if I’m lucky, under a beach umbrella. Hence it’s typically “easy reading”

A Man Called Ove: Richard read this in Italy and I started it soon after he put it down. We both loved it. I laughed, I cried, I finished it with a full heart wanting to be a better person. It’s a winner.

The Perfume Collector: It’s a beautiful story that unveils the main character Grace’s mysterious inheritance. It takes you away to 1920s Paris to learn about love & perfume.

Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald — this book was so captivating. The life and love story of Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald. From New York City to Paris, to the French Riviera — and all the glamorous parties in between. And of course the complications that arise. Highly recommend!

A couple years ago I mentioned The Forgotten Garden in a post {read my old post here} and it still holds true as one my favorites.

“You make a life out of what you have, not what you’re missing.”
– The Forgotten Garden

Also if you haven’t read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes hop to it! It’s one of the best, I could NOT put it down. The movie is out but I can’t really bring myself to go see it because I loved the book so much.

I would love any recommendations – so comment away, por favor!!!
