oh happy day.

It’s Friday — oh and it’s also Match Day! The day has finally come where we find out where we’ll be living come July for the next 3-5 years for residency.

I’m so incredibly proud of Richard and am so ready for the next step in our journey. The first time I met him, he told me he wanted to be a Doctor {circa 2008 at a frat party} so this has been 8 years in the making {with quite a few more years to go}.

It’s incredible the passion he has for medicine & I’m blessed to be married to such a compassionate, smart, kind & driven man. He brings light to my life everyday & I know he will do the same for his future patients.

I thank everyone who comes to this little space of mine to follow along in life & fashion ๐Ÿ™‚

It was his dad’s birthday yesterday — we know he is watching out for us from heaven, making sure we end up exactly where we’re supposed to be. I helped his mom make the below card that she sent out to family and friends & I adore the quote. It’s exactly what he was & it’s exactly what everyone should strive for in life.

Wish me luck & on a much lighter note, if you need some shopping inspiration – I’ve added a million things to the sparkle sense boutique. I cannot handle all the cuteness that is out right now!!! Have a fab weekend xx

  1. Good luck today with the match! As a fellow Dr Wife, I was in your position three years ago when my husband matched in the Orthopedic Surgery, so I know what you’re going through (longest.morning.ever, right?). You will end up where you’re supposed to be – enjoy today!

    • Thank you so much, Cassie!! Longest morning ever is right. So glad it all worked out with Rutgers & very relieved it’s over. Celebrating was so much fun but I’m still feeling it days later, haha ๐Ÿ™‚ All the best to you and your husband!! xx

      • Haha the celebration is the best part! And yes, it takes a while to recover from it ๐Ÿ™‚ Your cousin Mimi is a very close friend of mine and she told me the great news about y’all matching at Rutgers. Congratulations again and enjoy the next few months of celebrating
        before residency!
