overnight oats & square grid frame.

Here’s an easy recipe for overnight oats adapted from LaurenConrad.com. I love prepping a few of these on Sunday or Monday & you’re set with breakfast {or a mid-day snack!} for the week.

Ingredients: 1/3 cup regular oats, 2 tablespoons chia seeds, 1 cup milk of your choice, 1/2 banana, handful blueberries, 1 tablespoon peanut butter, 1 squeeze honey {you can also add a small amount of vanilla extract or maple syrup}

Mix your oats, almond milk, chia seeds, honey, banana, and blueberries {vanilla if you wish!} together in a bowl and put it in the fridge overnight.

In the morning, remove the bowl of oats and add the peanut butter {I add it in the night before but it’s whatever you prefer}

Mix it all up, serve cold, and enjoy!

Our monogrammed mason jars were a wedding gift {thanks Marj!} but you can order your own on Etsy here. I find them to be pretty perfect for overnight oating 🙂

AND one more random weekday thing that brings me happiness: I found this 16 square grid frame on Amazon HERE {it comes in 3 colors – this is the natural color} which made for the perfect way to display some of our favorite honeymoon photos.

I always told myself I would make a scrapbook – and I didn’t. So this was a great alternative. Two years later… better late than never, right!?

Highly recommend it & if you do order it: order square size prints from Walgreens / CVS what-have-you & tape your square photos over the sample collage they made. Trust me, your life will be much easier this way 🙂

Cheers! xx
