weekend recap.

I took Friday off to spend the day with my medical student husband seeing as he doesn’t ever really have days off to spare. After spending the morning & early afternoon studying I was able to get him away from the books 🙂

After going to Paris on our honeymoon we always love reminiscing at cute French bistros & cafes – a fav in NYC is Buvette!

It’s a tiny little spot with the cutest decor & absolutely delicious food. I had been before with my mom {see post here} & was so excited to pop in on Friday afternoon for a late lunch with Richard.

Not the best photo of my dish but it was so good. Richard’s Croque Forestier was unreal {I had some food envy but no pic to show for it}

After doing a little wandering around the West Village we then made our way to Times Square to see if we could snag some reasonably priced tickets to a show. Quaint West Village to Times Square = not a great transition if you’ve ever done it, haha. Luckily we were able to get tickets to A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love & Murder.

We went to Soho to kill some time before the show {& stop in Bonobos for Richard — such an amazing brand for guys!}

A quick beer & back to the show.

A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love & Murder was fantastic & hilarious. Such a great way to spend our Friday together in the Big Apple!
