Wedding Wednesday

Let’s talk about white & white. That is the bride AND groom wearing white. And as a side note, when I say white I really mean ivory. Amanda at Hyde Park Bridal {where I got my dress} told me that pretty much all brides wear ivory — not WHITE white.

While going through old wedding photos, Richard & I found that we each had a grandfather who wore a white dinner jacket at their wedding so it seemed meant to be.

We actually took the white {ahem, ivory} dinner jacket over to Amanda’s about a month before the wedding just to make sure “the look” was going to work. Hello, Bridezilla. On another side note, I had a wedding nightmare last night. I didn’t even know that was even a THING after your wedding. I was about to walk down the aisle and my hair wasn’t done – it was wet & pulled back into a ponytail. Something is wrong with me, haha.

We took the risk & {at least in my opinion} I think it totally worked. The classic, old school look was achieved, the boys looked so handsome & I don’t think it took away from the bride. I posted a bunch of photos last week so scroll down for more white + white.

What do you think? You won’t hurt my feelings 😉

Xx,

Ashley
